Independent Executive Advisory
Executive opportunities. Stronger positioning. A clearer path forward.
Independent executive advisory for senior professionals navigating their next career move. I identify relevant opportunities, help you assess the role, strengthen your professional profile where needed, and support the application process.
Opportunities are independently identified and introduced based on professional relevance.
Who I Work With
Senior professionals weighing a considered next step.
The practice is designed for experienced leaders: executives, directors, vice presidents, heads of function, and senior specialists who are evaluating where their career goes next.
The focus is relevance and progression. You are not sent generic job listings. An opportunity is only introduced when there is a credible reason it belongs in front of someone at your level.
- Executives and C-level leaders
- Directors and senior directors
- Vice presidents and heads of function
- Senior specialists moving into leadership
How I Work
A five step process, followed in order.
Identify
Relevant executive opportunities are identified based on industry, leadership level, experience, and potential career progression.
Review
The opportunity and role description are shared so you can assess whether the position makes sense for your next move.
Position
Your resume, LinkedIn profile, and professional positioning are reviewed. Where necessary, I can refer you to a trusted specialist with expertise in executive resume and profile development.
Submit
Once the profile is properly positioned and you decide to proceed, the application or profile is submitted through the appropriate channel.
Interview
If the company wishes to move forward, you are contacted for the interview stage.
How Communication Works
The initial process is handled in writing.
There is no introductory phone call or meeting simply to discuss an opportunity. First the opportunity is reviewed, your profile is assessed, and your professional documents are strengthened where necessary.
Written correspondence keeps the detail precise, gives you time to consider the role properly, and ensures nothing is submitted before you have seen and approved it.
Once the profile has been submitted and the company chooses to proceed, the interview process is handled directly with the hiring organization.
What I Provide
Support across the full arc of an executive candidacy.
Executive opportunity identification
Opportunities sourced and assessed against your industry, level, and direction.
Role and career progression assessment
A candid read on whether the position represents a meaningful next step.
Executive resume positioning
Your experience framed for the level of role in question, not rewritten generically.
LinkedIn profile positioning
Alignment between your public profile and the opportunity under consideration.
Application preparation
The materials and detail required before anything is submitted.
Submission support
Your profile submitted through the appropriate channel once you approve.
Interview stage guidance
Practical orientation if the hiring organization decides to move forward.
Where a resume or professional profile requires a higher level of refinement, I can recommend specialist support with dedicated expertise in executive profile development.
Why This Approach
A senior role should not be approached the same way as any other application.
At executive level, volume works against you. Fewer, better considered applications, prepared properly, carry more weight than broad outreach.
Relevance
Opportunities are introduced because they fit your level and trajectory, not to fill a pipeline.
Career progression
The question is always whether the role moves your career forward.
Professional positioning
Senior candidacies are won or lost on how experience is presented.
Clear communication
You know what stage you are at and what happens next.
Discretion
Conversations and materials are handled with professional restraint.
A structured application process
Each step happens in order, with your approval before submission.
Trust and Credibility
Independent by design.
This is an independent practice. I am not a recruitment agency, an internal recruiter, or a representative of any hiring company. Opportunities are identified independently and introduced on the basis of professional relevance.
You correspond with me directly throughout. There is no account team, no handoff, and no intermediary interpreting your candidacy for you.
Direct communication. Clear expectations. No unnecessary layers.
What is said is what happens. If a role is not right for you, that is a legitimate outcome. Nothing is submitted without your decision to proceed.
Before You Proceed
What you can expect.
- 01You will receive information about the opportunity first.
- 02You can review the role before deciding whether to proceed.
- 03Your profile will be assessed against the opportunity.
- 04Where improvements are needed, trusted specialist support may be recommended.
- 05Your profile is prepared before submission.
- 06Interview discussions take place only after the hiring organization decides to proceed.
Success Based Compensation
You only compensate me after successful placement.
There is no upfront fee. My compensation becomes due only when you successfully secure the position.
Considering your next executive move?
If you have received an opportunity from me, you can review the role first and decide whether it makes sense for your career direction. The process begins with the opportunity and your professional positioning.
